Photo Daily: Wacker Drive Fog

It’s been the rainiest, most bizarre June weather this year in Chicago. But it also makes for some wonderful photos.

I made this photograph from the CTA Brown Line the other day. The fog rolling in down Wacker Drive with such intensity that visibility was down to only a few blocks. But beautiful all the same.

I actually prefer photographing my city when the weather is less than pleasant. So much more interesting. Brooding. It becomes a character in a story.

And at least it’s not snowing.
