It’s been the rainiest, most bizarre June weather this year in Chicago. But it also makes for some wonderful photos.
I made this photograph from the CTA Brown Line the other day. The fog rolling in down Wacker Drive with such intensity that visibility was down to only a few blocks. But beautiful all the same.
I actually prefer photographing my city when the weather is less than pleasant. So much more interesting. Brooding. It becomes a character in a story.
And at least it’s not snowing.
