“You’re going to do this every year, right?” That was the question I was asked the most, eight years ago, during the first, soon to be somewhat annual, New Years Redux party.
It was born from the idea that New Years Eve can really be amateur night. So much pressure to have a good time, with the added rub that if you had a bad New Years Eve, you were setting yourself up for more bad the rest of the year.
New Years Redux was a chance to wipe the slate clean, always on Martin Luther King Day Eve, since most people had the day off the next day. A second chance at ringing the new year in again without a $100 all-you-can-eat-and-drink admission fee. With people, good friends, you actually care to celebrate with.
This years New Years Redux was just that, once again. Good friends, great conversation and delicious food and drink that everyone brought to the studio. A nice chill evening.

Here’s to a great 2014!
Happy New Year… again!
